HÄGGLUND BV206 Personnel Carrier Version

Comprised of a front and rear body, both of which are driven, the Personnel Carrier offers a tremendously versatile capability being capable of carrying up to 17 persons or up to 2,000kg of cargo internally.

The two GRP bodies are naturally buoyant and permit the vehicle to actually swim which is not to be confused with fording. These vehicles can actually swim on still water at a speed of up to 4 knots.

Availability

With a ground pressure equal to less than half that of a man's footprint, these vehicles are well suited to working in the snow and especially in powder snow.

Capable of carrying either passengers or cargo, we have sold numerous vehicles to ski-lodge/hotels around the world for use as a means of transporting guests up the snow covered regions or two or from the accommodation following a days ski-ing.

And it's not just one or two machines which we produce for customer's.

In the case of the Jordanian Civil Defense (similar to our British Fire / Ambulance / Mountain Rescue roled into one) we supplied in excess of 160 units as a single order.

These vehicles are being used as Fire Appliances, Ambulances and General Rescue Vehicles.
